A Letter To Our Patients

May 16, 2020

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to safety.

El Reno Family Dentistry is open. As I am sure you have seen during your visits, infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Our infection control processes are in place so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable.

Our mission to be El Reno’s Most Caring Dental Office has never been more important. We are anchored in four key principles: 1) start on time, 2) end on time, 3) never harm anyone, and 4) follow the “golden rule” with everyone.

Below are some changes we have made for Phase 1 of our opening. We will continue to modify as needed.

  • All team members will be wearing personal protective equipment including N95 masks. We exceed ADA mask guidelines.
  • Each patient treatment room is equipped with NEW Air Purifiers to continually clean the air with HEPA filtration and a UV-C light system that kills up to 99% of bacteria and viruses.
  • We have purchased new high-volume evacuation (suction) dental tools to help eliminate “spattering” and aerosols by 90%.
  • Cohlmia and Dr. Faulconer have reviewed all sanitation and treatment procedures to ensure that all techniques used eliminate risk.

New check-in procedures include:

  • Additional screening questions will be asked at the time your appointment is confirmed and again at the office. Please do not come to the office if you feel sick. We respectfully ask that you let us know by phone or email prior to your appointment if things change.
  • Please wait in your car until we call you in for your appointment. As always, we plan for your appointment to start on time.
  • We encourage you to wear a mask when you arrive at our office.
  • Your temperature will be taken when you arrive.
  • We will immediately escort you to your treatment room, where you’ll hand wash and rinse with hydrogen peroxide mouthwash.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for greater social distancing between patients.

These new procedures mean that your experience at our office will look different, but underneath the masks and gowns we’re still the same kind, professional team that you have come to know. We want you to know that your safe treatment is paramount. Providing outstanding dental care is what we do. Dental health is a primary driver of overall health and yours matters a great deal to us.

Thank you for being a patient of El Reno Family Dentistry. If you believe in our approach to dentistry, please tell your friends. More than ever, your referral is important to us.

Please call 405.262.6737 or visit our web site at www.dentistelreno.com if you have any questions or concerns. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.

Sincerely,
