Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Coming from a family that primarily worked in the hospitality business, Dr. Parsons took after his dad in that he’s a people person and can chat with absolutely anyone. These natural skills along with his love for art and science made him a natural fit for dentistry, where he gets to combine everything into a single profession that makes people’s lives better every day.
“Dentistry has given me the opportunity to build relationships and work hand in hand with my patients to achieve life-changing results. From improving someone’s quality of life through restorative care to providing the best in esthetic dentistry, the positive impact that I have on the everyday lives of my patients is the main reason that I love my profession.”
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Parsons attended the University of Oklahoma where he studied Dental Sciences. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 2019. He then spent several years in private practice in Edmond, Oklahoma prior to joining El Reno Family Dentistry.
Dr. Parsons’ training with the latest dental technology allows his patients to benefit from all the advantages of modern-day digital dentistry. This enables him to consistently provide a comfortable and stress-free patient experience. From Invisalign to same-day crowns, Dr. Parsons is proud to offer the latest techniques in oral care.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When Dr. Parsons isn’t working, you’re just as likely to find him exercising as you are to catch him BBQing or baking. An avid traveler, Dr. Parsons loves to go on adventures with his wife, our own Dr. Krysten Jackson, and their three dogs, Sunny, Lucy, and Winry. On his more relaxing days, Dr. Parsons loves video games almost as much as he does a good book.
